I'm joining Paleologos for the remark. I've noticed that you took into account our remark about the tail. Anatomatically speaking (hope that's correct to say that ), the lizard man looks much better from my point of view.
Anyway, I wish you all the best for the GDC

@ Pal, I guess that's the Lizard (Marvel character) in 2050 or so

It's a cyber demon creature. I got a massive amounts of influence from Doom 3 and Metalgear Revengerance in terms of design and inspiration.

Thanks for all of the comments guys!

Hey y'all. It's been a while due to busy schedule but here's an attempt at doing realistic PBR skin. Rendered in Marmoset:

So far it looks very good, +rep!
    A few questions:
    What's PBR?
    What's wrong with the mouth?
    How many polygons is it?
What are the dimensions of the texture maps?

PBR means Physical Based Rendering. It's todays modern rendering style in most games.

His mouth is slightly ajared due to the fact that I did projection map baking on him. It's so that I didn't have any texture artifacts or weird problems.

    The texture dimensions are 2048x2048.

Uhhh I believe his polygon count is 3k triangles. Around most modern FPS head polygons.

How long does it take you to finish your work from start to finish?

Depends really. The lovecraftina column only took about a day and a evening (including multiple breaks and various other distractions). The head took about two-ish days because I was trying some new techniques in texturing. The giant demon robot dude took about two weeks and a few days more (but I have a part time job during that so it took a smidge more).

It depends really on the end of the day on what I am doing or hows my pacing goes.

Great textures and topology! That would fun to animate, is there a backstory to him?

I expected a Chuck Norris face on top of that figure but it's ok overall as it is.

His face looks like mine when I'm not shaved At least, I can say we have the same hairdresser

    Great stuff as usual
I second The Roman Republic. It would be cool to see him animated

Funny enough my friend AJ did a mess rig for him so I could pose him. I could always email him back and ask to do a full on rig and have him jump and squat!

In regards to back story this was originally going to be the nameless marine protagonist for a quake-1-homage game. Would like to kick it off but I trying to create a good recruitment ad and a game document takes some time.
