Here is a pillar for my lighting and materials class for games. It's architecture that's a hybrid between medieval gothic and modern rusty industrial. Texture is done by hand and dDo. Normal maps for the stone however are sculpted in zbrush and baked out by xNormal.

I've sent the completed model over to the dev team for Rise of the Three Kingdoms, but here's a slightly earlier version of it. All it's missing is the hands and the heads/hands color map.

Junior Portfolio Screenies! The level is still under construction (two weeks left!) but here are some of the pics from my Junior Portfolio review. I have some turntables also but I don't think forums allow me to post up .mov files.

Just thought I would pop by and say what beautiful work you're doing. I envy your talent man, and I look forward to seeing some of your models in use.

Hey thanks man! It takes a long time and a lot of dedication to get good with this. I feel like writing up some tutorials for the modders here to get more "umph" out of there modeling quality.

Heh, you got talent - that's for sure. I really like the gladiator piece though it could have used a tad more detail on the legs.

Actually all of it was done in Zbrush. Used an insert mesh brush with a curve function and duplicated the crap out of it.

Haven't got to work on this guy since Portfolio review. So here's a teaser with the armor details.

Okay homeless people, I've gotten this guy done about three weeks ago, it's just that I was lazy to post the finish sculpt up. The retopo and color is done as well, but I would like to pose him before I render the color version. Enjoy!

So I decided to render the low poly version today in Marmoset. Missing the chain and still needs some color correction. Hopefully I can get this uploaded onto Verold Soon.
