    Default Rules of Adoption?

    Sorry i tried to search for a answer but couldn't find one.

    I want to adopt a person from another house but the only option is assassination? He isnt the leader of the house so not sure what is stopping me? Anyone know what circumstances there must be to adopt someone?

    No idea, not enough money?

    I know that sometimes the option says "bribe" instead of adopt and I'm not sure what the difference is.
