    Default Units Attacking Dead Enemy

Im not quite sure hwere to post this, but its happening in most battles and im interested as to what is wrong.
When i attack a unit and kill them, and then order my troops tro move on, sometimes small numbers of soldiers will remain where they are, fighting the enemy which is already dead. Mousing over the dead unit it shows who they had been, and says that they are 'Dead'. I have to click several times or just wait before my men will decide to move on. I think this only happened once or twice with the original game/ other mods, but its happening alot now in RTRPE. Wondering what is wrong; is it my comp, is it a glitch, is it fixable?
    Thx for any help

Bug inherited from vanilla. You just probably see it more with longer battles or something

It happened pretty often in vanilla two. If it`s more frequent in RTRPE maybe it`s because the RTW v1.5 engine as compared to v1.2. Just a guess.
Anyway, if you want to brak loose you should try to set the unit in loose formation. Sometimes this does the trick. If not, try to charge in different directions too or try to navigate around the dead body with the part of your unit that is not stuck. Until you get them unstuck. If you have the luxury of the time to do this. Most of the time you should as the troops there are already dead and that usually means that you control the local situation.

Also, I've found that if you set your unit to guard mode, it's quite likely to get the rogue men away from stabbing dead people. There is a small chance, that your whole unit will come and join the party however - i think it's something to do with the ratio of people who are doing it, hence if there's quite a few members of a unit attacking dead people then the whole unit is more likely to come join the action....
