Rome II Not Recognising Graphics Card?
Hi there,
I Have a problem regarding Rome II recognising my AMD Radeon 7670M. When I got into graphics settings on Rome II, the game indicates that I'm running from my Intel 4000HD, which is just not good enough for anything above low graphics settings, as a consequence, the game greys out the option to set graphics any higher, and if I go into 'advanced settings' and switch the graphics up myself, the FPS drops to alarmingly low levels, or the game crashes.
Obviously Rome is not recognising my 7670, which, form what I have read should be able to run the game on Med-High settings. Is anyone else experiencing this problem? Any solutions, a way to make the game read my superior card? Any pointers?
Thanks guys!
Note: I have installed the latest beta ATi drivers, have set Rome II as a 'high performance' application in the Catalyst Control Centre, I have run a benchmark within Rome itself that indicates my graphics are to be set on Low (looks terrible, I might add), and I have set my Laptop to 'high performance' mode.

Re: Rome II Not Recognising Graphics Card?
Oh great, after installing the beta 13.10 drivers, I now cannot open Catalyst Control Centre and receive this message, "AMD Catalyst Control Centre cannot be started. There are currently no settings that can be configured using AMD Catalyst control centre"
somebody please help :'(
I just want to play Rome....

I feel your pain, man.
Are you getting the blue screen of death if you shutdown your laptop too? It started a chain reaction that even corrupted my system restore points and I reformatted my HD.
I'm using the drivers from last year because 13.10 is not working properly.
