What sort of PC you got? I get the odd freeze, but not every time.

Proculus: Divine Caesar, PLEASE! What have I done? Why am I here?
Caligula: Treason!
Proculus: Treason? I have always been loyal to you!
Caligula: [laughs insanely] That IS your treason! You're an honest man, Proculus, which means a bad Roman! Therefore, you are a traitor! Logical, hmm? Ha, ha, ha!
Gaming computer
CPU: Intel Core i7-3930K Processor.
Two GPUs: AMD Radeon HD 7970.
Ram: 18gb
Windows 7 32bit
At this point I could suggest the AMD beta driver that's hot off the press.

Got it, sorry it was my mistake, I mixed 2 uncompatible mods, false alarm.
By the way, I already installed the AMD patch you have attached up there, and still I am getting shivers around the water shores on the battlefield.
Note: when I disable the AMD CrossfireX, the shivering stops, and when I enable it, the shivering comes back!
Any suggestions?
I have 2 GPUs in my machine.
@GM207
CF is still buggy (everybody has the same issues like flickering shoreline). Just disable CF for Rome 2. You can create a profile for Rome2.exe in AMDs CCC and disable CF there.
A single 7970 is easily enough to render Rome 2 with extreme settings since the graphics engine is mostly CPU limited (shadows and unit detail have to be lowered for better performance in battles due to the CPU limiation). I have 2x7970 myself but I only use 1 even with 2560x1440 resolution.
CA needs to add MSAA first in order to utilize all the idle GPU power.
