Default A request for base income modification

Hello, this is one of my first posts on the forum even though I've been reading it for many years.

A friend and I have been eagerly anticipating Rome II so we can play Co-op Multiplayer, but we were very disappointed with the very bad battle AI and how incredibly easy the campaign was even on legendary due to the passive AI and its armies of militia. I understand the battle AI is unfixable by mods and CA has to fix it themselves, so we resorted to artificially enhancing the difficulty.

I tried looking through the files to reduce the base income of our factions from 2500 to 1000, but I just couldn't find it anywhere. If someone can tell me step-by-step where to look and how to change it I would be very grateful.

On a related note, we also used Radious' AI Mod, Economy and Research Mod and Battle Mod ( http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showt...d-11-9-2013%29 ) in conjunction with Veriloquent's More aggressive AI mod( http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showt...ressive-AI-Mod ) to make the AI factions more powerful and more aggressive and it worked surprisingly well, but we do get the odd crash every now and then, mostly when loading up battles that we fight together in. The question is, could the mods be conflicting and causing the crashes?

For income there is a "faction_gpd_other" variable in db->campaign_variables_tables->campaign_variables that I assume controls your flat 2500 income since that is what it's set too. Use the PFM to open data_rome2.pack or if you have a mod that already alters that table you can adjust it there.

That was quick, thank you mate. It worked

And for the other part of the question, does anyone know if the other mods actually conflict? Or is there some other mod that makes the AI highly aggressive?

Fastest way is to open those mods up in PFM and see which tables they edit and if any 2 edit the same table there will be a conflict. The more agressive AI and radious will probably have a conflict somewhere, though since you don't use his campaign mod can't be for sure. Though I don't think that would necessarily cause the crashes you are having. That could just be the usually MP desyncs or something.
