    steppe scale amors are the base but i have modified their apparences (for example their shoulder parts are shorter)


    i declined them in 3 types:

    Wow I really like this mod. It wouldn't be possible to have a dual katana version (like in the movie) would it? Probably not... would've been cool though

    i need something, like your armor, but whitout the shoulders and brown color for my iberian skinpack. How i can cut off the shoulders??...Do you know?

    Kyfohatl, unfortunately, there is no 3D model close to katana and the animation for a weapon in each hand sucks


    Miri, as you know you can't add or edit 3d model so you have to trick.
    For example my helmet is a combinaison of two pieces (arab hairdress and a cata helmet) in two conflicts spots. I apply an alpha filter to make a 100% transparent texture. In this way, I keep the mask of the cata helmet (I mask all the rest of the helmet + the arab hairdress.


    For the armor, same way. I use alpha channel to cut the part of the armor i want to remove and i adjust the textures.

    I rename everything to have no conflict with others units

    I really like this mod but like an earlier poster said they are not recruitable in campaigns. I built Nobles Palaces for Parthia and I couldn't recruit them.

    Thanks, I found a workaround by making them available as mercenaries in some of my provinces using a save file editor. But it would be nice to be able to recruit them as normal units.

    i think i found the problem, you have to add the table Immortal_"commander_unit_permissions" then add the faction key "rom_parthia" and the unit key "Mer_Immortals_Spear".

    I did not test but it should work. I will fix it for the release.

    Immortals should be historical, more like how they were in the original Rome in the alexander pack.

    They are a spear & shield unit which at range uses arrows.

    Equipment: Spear & Shield / Bow

    Seriously guys, stop with your historical immortal...
    If you want them, take a basic eastern spearmen and boost their stat.. you will have a historical version of immortals.


    Here, they are not historical because this is 270 BC, not 500 BC .. The persian empire has fallen.


    They have a 300 movie graphic, it s all i can do with 3D model i have...

    Maybe I can make some models with 3dmax but it depents on my freetime - just want to say thx!! Best lookin' unit so far

    And to all the guys demanding historical correct units... go do it by yourself or write proposals but STOP SPAMMING FORUMS!!!

    I'm Newbie on modding. I only have will to learn, and do changes on the units into rome 2 is easy with variantmeshes.

    Dude this is awesome Would love to DL it. And please ignore the people talking about historical. This is a game i dont give a rats ass about historical. I want a load of units with some balance that work for radious mod. Make the units look as bad ass as possible like the 300 movie. Its a movie and this is a game its entertainment.
