Title says it all. The Casse genral looks look Talos from the Elder Scrolls. Yep. Thoughts?

Skyrim is fictional so stop fantasizing mkay?
all hail the flying spaghetti monster!
((Before I launch in to this, I know it was a joking comment, but I enjoy talking about this stuff, so there!))
Even with the Romans your campaigns are about alternate histories. Conquering things faster, using different armies and possibly different tactics, conquering different areas first, reforming your armies earlier or later than the Romans actually did - yes I know the changes in their military happened over time, but I mean things like finding your own Marius that would "revolutionise" the way your armies function, possibly at an earlier date than in history and possibly at a later date - hell, even allying with different factions... the list goes on.
That's why Total War is so fun =D. If you were just recreating history each time you played, I'm sure it'd get quite boring. I mean, it could be fun if you're the kind of person who enjoys messing with things to ensure they play out as you want, but I've never really been that kind of person ^_^. For me, a lot of the fun has always been watching the AI factions as I play - or rather, checking up on them every so often - and seeing who's doing well and who isn't each time. It's different just about every time. There's nothing better when playing Vanilla RTW than seeing Thrace defeat both the Macedonians and the Greeks and take all of their territories.
So was the Casse conquest of Rome, but I make my own reality.
