any news on it's release? if not is it possible to perhaps mod it in?

With all the game's technical and design problems, a blood DLC is the last thing on my mind. Sort the base game out first CA, and then worry about things like this.
OPEN BATTLEFIELD CAPTURE POINTS AND IMPACT PUFFS HAVE GOT TO GO!
REVERT INFANTRY THROWING PILAE TO ROME TW'S SYSTEM AS IT WAS PERFECT!
Mobo: GA-P35-S3, CPU: Intel Core 2 Quad Q8400 2.66Ghz, GPU: AMD HD 6850 1GB, RAM: 4.Gb Corsair DDR2, Sound: Audigy 4, O/S: Windows 7 64bit Home Premium
well considering patch 2 fixed all my problems. =/ lol
I am the author of the "Weaker Towers" and "Officers Of" series of mods for Total War: Warhammer!

No ones been scammed? Well then, we are left only to believe then; CA is incompetent, irresponsible, unprofessional, and has no shame in selling a $60 game still in beta. And we loyal fans will just have to wait until CA has the time and (our) money to make the game playable. Of course there is a great many opinions on the definition of what playable means.
Oh, and what about all those poor saps, the casual unsuspecting gamers, who thought they were buying a complete product. You know, the people CA makes likely 90% of its profit from.
We TW fans know that CA is not perfect and always releases games needing patches, but this hits a new low. Not only does this game need contant patching, but even if repaired to the state it should have been released in, it's not near worth $60 nor worthy of the name 'Rome 2'.
With that said, I sill want to take up playing this game again when it's at least playable by my definition. CA could surprise us not only by fixing the game, but adding new features to make the game worthy of it's name. I'm rather pessimistic on that front.
The only reason they didn't include blood on release was to appease Australian and German courts from banning the game.
"He who wishes to be the best for his people, must do that which is necessary - and be willing to go to hell for it."
Let the Preservation, Advancement and Evolution of Mankind be our Greater Good.
And NO, my avatar is the coat of arms from the Teutonic Knightly Order because they're awesome.

Blood is listed in the pref script if im not mistaken. You can bet your bottom dollar its coming at 1.99 a pop and probably before we get a proper AA, Tesselation or HDR.
Would love to see Celtic headhunters as a DLC.
That's an interesting subject cause personally i think that to depict violence in a bloodless, immaculate kind way is actually more damageable for a young mind than to show blood and guts.
It gives this false and wrong impression of clean wars, that you know, it's not that bad, what people are complaining about ? It's not a big deal. Which is a really sick way to look at it.
Violence should always be shown as it really is. I find the German and Australian position to be extremely hypocritical.
Hopefully soon, they have to fix the lag though. Gonna be oober lag if theres blood also right now.
One Punch Man Series VS My Hero Academia Series - Who's Better?
Australia has just adopted an R rating for games in time for the release of GTA V. I haven't played Shogun2 yet but I believe that had a blood pack that I presume was released here without any controversy. Someone else will need to verify that.
Shogun 2 blood pack was fantastic. I hope they release a blood pack for Rome 2 too.
Excellent feature, I would not renounce to it BUT considering the fact blood effects force the cpu and the game is a pure beta with poor optimization, at present time a blood dlc (every kind of dlc)would be a waste of time..time thy could ("should") use to complete the game.
