Are all missile units bugged?
Hey guys,
Does anyone else here have the issue of missile units having a far lower number of shots per minute on the campaign/battle map than in the encyclopedia? In my current Roman campaign the encyclopedia tells me that my Velites should be able to fire 13 times per minute, yet the unit card once I've recruited them says they will only fire 8 times per minute. Same thing with my auxiliary Numidian javelin men. Encyclopedia says 23 shots per minute, unit card says 9. I've also tested this on the battle map and it definitely looks like they're firing at almost the same rate. I'm hoping this is just a bug because it would be nice to have a little more unit variety and I don't think it's unreasonable to think that a skilled javelinman could throw once every three seconds. Has anyone else experienced this or found some information regarding how it is supposed to perform?

The encyclopedia is bugged for spm.
Also, Javelin every 3 seconds? Are you joking?

Why on earth would I be joking? I've only thrown a few javelins in my lifetime but even I could throw one every 4 or 5 seconds. So it's hardly unreasonable to think that someone who has done it all his life could throw once every 3 seconds, especially since none of the units get a running start before throwing. They just stand still and throw, and if you've ever watched up close during a battle, they also just stand still doing absolutely nothing for at least 5 seconds between shots.
