Rome 2 Unit Lag
I'm having an issue in very large battles where I will be running 25-30 fps according to afterburner, but units themselves will have sluggish animations/movement speeds. Is anyone else experiencing this and is there a way to fix it?
My specs:
GTX 760 4GB GDDR5
8GB Corsair Vengeance RAM at 1866
AMD FX-4100 @ 4.3 GHZ
Everything has the latest drivers and my BIOS is up to date.

I think it's a bug. I had the same thing in NTW. The grass would also be really slow when it moved, but it just seemed as though the animations were working at 10fps or so, but at normal speed. No idea why it does it, I run NTW flawlessly now.

Re: Rome 2 Unit Lag
When I play Napoleon, my PC can handle 50,000 troops from both sides, 25kvs25k with no lag.
I got a kick ass pc, with Rome 2 it lags BAD at 20,000 troops, what a efin shame, hope this is fixed.
what bugs me though, is when you go to custom battles, you can have 4 armies Vs 4, on Large with 40 units an armie, I calculated
160 men units times 40 is 6400 men per armie, times that by a total of 8 armies (4 vs 4) equals to 51,200, this feature came in the game???? why the heck would CA have the possibilty to make these huge battle, since the game engine can handle a fraction of that number?

I suppose there is no fix then and I'm at CAs mercy? Lovely.

Re: Rome 2 Unit Lag
Its happened in every single Warscape game to date. It's just much more prominent in Shogun 2 and Rome 2.
There is no fix to CPU bottlenecking in this case, especially when the game is still 32bit and totally unoptimized.
