Could you ever start a campaign on this computer? What version of the game as in original disc, Gold, Anthology, Steam, other?

Big problem for you because you can't play without the disc legally unless you buy a copy from Steam. You need to cut a deal with this parent to get the disc back.

And I don't get parents and their children after raising six of my own.

well, i was saying that i have disc, but something is wrong with game as i cant activate it further than that small red box that appears straight after launching and before SEGA and Creative Assamble reclams on fullscreen

Did you uninstall it through RTW's uninstaller, delete the TRW folder, and clean the registry before trying to reinstall?

If you have uninstalled the game and deleted the RTW folder, use a free version of Ccleaner or a free version of Eusing Free Registry Cleaner. Google will pull up both for a link.

Do a fresh reinstall, test vanilla after it's patched, then we'll know.
