Freeze on turn switching - Egypt's turn lasts for hours

So I was playing with Sparta and at turn 25 --> 26 it started freezing. Like when it's Egypt's turn, it wont continue and my fps is low at that time. Any fixes?

Yes, my PC exceeds the minimum sys requirements.

I have a similar problem, but worse.

I loaded my game on legendary (so it's the one and only save file) and a battle at a besieged settlement occured, where I was about to move out. I cacelled the attack. Then, the turn was ended and I stuck with Egypt's turn. The worst is, if I reload, I end up at "end turn" and again stuck with Egypt's turn... and for it's legendary, I can't reload any other save files. : /

I have the same problem but when i got to civil war playing as Rome. When it is Senate Loyalists first turn the game freez and i cant continue the game. I dont have any fix fore this but i just have to make the civil war not happen!!! To bad becus i really like to make my repuplic to an imperum. I hope CA fix this bug in next patch??

I had a problem where I would CTD on the same place in the AI's turn. I turned off the option to see the AI's moves and it got me past the problematic turn.

You could try that.
