No more population growth???

So my problem is this. I am in game around 150 turn (playing as ROME). Been using the 2 turns per year mod. And two years is just perfect for me. Besides a lot of thing that are wrong with this game, I'm still having fun with it.

But there is one thing that I just cant get my head around. What the hell happened after I won the Civil war....the politics just stoped....no more secure promotion buttons and adopt buttons...nothing. But I serched the web and i got a few anwsers...basicly politics die after a civil war, which is just a wrecker for me. But I managed to continue playing the game.

I also noticed that the population growth just stopped after the civil war...At all my provinces. So I checked at the stats and it showed that I'm not getting any population growth even though my stats at the bottom of the population growth "window" say I'm in the green...So I calculated and I should be getting like 35 population growth in Italy every turn...but nothing is happening. I'm just so ing frustrated. I searched the forums adn I could not find anything besides guides on how to play the game proper and how to use the buildings and so on. But my point is...I am building corectly and I have like 57 food surplus and my happines is in all provinces 100....but still, the republic is dying. NO MORE POPULATION GROWTH. Not even in my newly captured provinces in spain. It is just...well. MIND!

I suppose it is a bug, and someone wil fix it someday. But I would also apreciate if anyone has any knowledge about this problem. Or maybe someone has the same problem. Is it possible that I just reached the full potencial of a province as far as pop. growth goes or what??? Any anwser would be welcome...

Maybe if you unlock all construction slots in the whole province the growth stops?

You have a limited number of slots in each city/town. Check to see if they've all been filled.

It is possible that I have filled all the slots. There certanly is no more of those white slots with a red number inside So I supose that is that. It just seems too early...And the politics buttons are gone forever too???
