    Default rome 2 cavalry

I have to say i havent bought this game yet, and considering if its worth buying. However i loved empire tw and whats bothering me after what ive seen in rome 2, is the awful cavalry models. Those looks just the same as in the previous game. See this video of charge og the light brigade from etw http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zk4poKtLyfg and you will know what im talking about. THOSE are real horses! isnt rome 2 a disappointment?

I've hated Cavalry in TW ever since Empire was released. Warscape engine simply lacks the feel & weight of the old Rome/Medieval2 engine.

If you're trying to decide whether to buy the game or not, judge it on other factors. Cavalry will be a waste as long as CA keeps using Warscape.

well that was the only thing i was looking forward to in this game, to actually look like a roman general on his horse. i think the lack of feel and weight would be just nescesary evil, and it was a improvement wasnt it? i think CA should stick With it once made this improvement. or else there are actually none significant advances since the first release. i dont think i will buy this game.

If you ask me, the Warscape engine is quite an improvement for Cavalry.

It really feels like a charge when you crash into the enemy, and charging works a lot more than it did in previous TW games such as Me2.

And NO, my avatar is the coat of arms from the Teutonic Knightly Order because they're awesome.

Cavalry in Shogun 2 was a vast improvement from previous titles. Rome 2 improves further, except on being able to disengaged from combat. In Rome 2 I can charge a unit and the charge can take me clean through the other side of the unit allowing me to push through and continue. Its awesome, it looks amazing and you can see the force of the impact on the enemy soldiers. But if I don't micromanage the my unit it will get bogged down after the charge and casualties end up being pretty high.
