Default Infinite Blockading ruins the flow of the game!

I am getting slightly annoyed that the computer never takes over the cities they blockade.... ever? They just sit there and blockade forever and it keeps all the other armies from doing anything! I had one faction blockading in sicily for about 40 turns and i finally just waged war on them as well to actually be able to take the city.. Now in Greece, Macedon has blockaded another faction since the start of the game. Sparta is allys with them and they have a overwhelming force just sitting outside the city forever never actually doing anything!..

Anyone else having this happen to them?

Its dumb have like 5 factions held up because they dont take it over..

Only solution is to whack 'em with your fleet until CA decides to fix this.

The other part to this equation is you suffer attrition blockading ports. I have watched Spartan fleets literally dissolve after 50 turns of a constant blockade. Couple with the fact that an army cannot siege the city of the blockading fleet is not their own. I say that is this biggest bug right now for me.

^ I had to do that to an ally who blockaded a city that rebelled from me.... I had to smack them and they didn't forgive me so I had to smack them some more....
