Spartans helmets, Greeks, Romans they all can wait a bit. I think its around 3 minute per turn this is crazy 10 turns=30 minute. There is anyone out there who could do something about it??!!

There's really nothing us (the community) or they (the modders) can really do about this. This is a base game issue that, really, only CA can fix and have already done so to some degree in the latest Beta patch 2.

I found it got better about 100turns in, once theres only about 30 nations left. Mid games the worst for it, and I'm yet to wait much over a minute, so its bearable for me. The CAI and BAI, on the other hand... It's full retard. Shouldn't ever go full-retard. I have no hope they'll sort the problems, either. Empires AI couldnt manage a game of pong, and never got sorted. I'm expecting the same treatment here, they need to sack whoever was incharge of it, cos he's obviously spent the last year getting high, wanking, having an affair and god knows whatever else.

nothing the community can do about it, and i kind of doubt there is anything CA can actually do about... no offense, just the way the game was built, they probably expect everyone to have super systems.
I dont have big issues, i think the turns feel like a modded medieval total war 2 turns, and i can deal with that

Huh, you guys still modding? You were given a clear and precise order! Stuff you care about can wait, haven´t you heard? Instead of investing money in a proper system and keeping it clean and tidy it´s of course the modder´s task to fix someone´s loading times... what´s right is right.

STEAM does that for you... no need to download manually - its not even possible...
