    Default 30 Days

I'm not sure if many of you have seen the show 30 Days, produced by Morgan Spurlock. I think that many people should watch the episode of when a Christian lives with Muslims for a month, that might change the view of moderate Muslims, from barbaric insane people, to the same as the person living next to you.

If they didn't hold the preferable view already, odds are the show won't help a whole lot.
One thing is for certain: the more profoundly baffled you have been in your life, the more open your mind becomes to new ideas.

I watch the show a lot, but mainly because of what fools the people on it act like.

I don't meet many Christians who view Muslims as barbaric insane people. I think that's only the American flavour. Come to think of it, I don't meet many Christians at all where I come from.

I just looked at the episode history and saw no indication of such an episode. :hmmm:

It's the first season, not second, and it's a white Christian lives with Pakistani, I think, Muslims for a month.

Has 30 Days brought in many viewers? Half of the people I know haven't seen Supersize Me, and at least two view it as hippie-liberal drivel. I might be persuaded to watch this Christian-Muslim episode if the two said individuals discussed religion over a cup of tea

I've seen his show and I didn't like it that much. He has interesting ideas for shows, but he ruins it with his overly left bias. He should learn to be more objective because right now it feels like he's forcing the results and his message on the viewers.

I saw some of it. Nothing too surprising.

I saw it, nothing special. Just the usual, "I now have a respect for their viewpoint." I actually liked the message, but you see this kind of stuff all of the time.

But barely any people acknowlege it. Many just continue to blame Islam for it's followers actions.

Not necessarily. I think people blame the followers themselves, at least those from the Middle East. Aside from that incident in Seattle a month or two ago, I don't think there has been trouble with American Muslims.
