When and how often do you auto resolve?

After the first or second imperium level, either I end up auto reolving every battle or staring a new campaign altogether...campaign mode is simly, anothe game separate from battle mode altogether, I think.

When and how often do you auto resolve a battle?

I only auto-resolve on offensive siege battles where I dramatically outnumber/outclass the enemy and will win no matter what I do, basically just to save time. Oh, and I auto resolve naval battles because they feel horrible. They just simply don't make sense to me -- one unit boarding a group of slingers, although winning, will start to waver and will sometimes shatter and surrender. -.-

Other than that though I play my battles.
