    I've done it before but it does not have too much effect. The delay between 2 volleys doesn't change.
    Can you help me, please!

    Well I guess you have to you have to modify base_reload_time in projectiles tables then. But that will change it for every unit that uses it. To make it work just for one unit you have to add a missile weapon and a projectile and give them to that unit. Just a few more entries in a few more tables.

    I have installed this mod, but i canīt recruit this unit. I donīt know why, other mods are working. I have delet all other mods and tried again, but still it dosnīt work for me. Sorry, my english isnīt the best. What im doing wrong?
    I have placed the aux_rom_archers.pack in the Data diretory from Rome 2, same like other mods.
    Maybe anyone can help me.

    All other mods work, this one doesn't.

    Here is my version of the archers. I recommend a mod removes the yellow clothing. For example FactionUniformColours or Prometheus_Realistic_units_1_0_4!

    To install
    Unpack and put mod into Rome 2 data folder. This can be found here - Drive X:\ProgramFiles(x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\total war rome 2\data

    Mod format
    Therefore you must edit your user script mod aux_rom_archers.pack; or use very handy mod manager by Mitch - http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showt...36-Mod-Manager. Put mod into data folder of the game and simply activate it in mod manager.

    Compatibility
    This mod is fully compatible with latest Rome 2 patch and all dlcs, save games and Radious or other mods!!!!

    Strange, we have people say works and we have people saying doesn't work. You guys starting it with the mod manager? Guess I'll have to put that in the first post.

    The stats of armour and defense from my archers must be increased and then everything balance out again. It also still lacks a separate text file. I'll do that next time. I try to complete the text file in English and German. I can make it compatible with the Radious Unit Pack 1 - Barbarian Invasion (Unit Pack Compatibility) if you so wish.

    Radious Unit Pack compatibility would be awesome - I've modified the archers to remove the special abilities and change some of their stats to be more compatible with Radious' mods but some I can't find out how to change (armour, reload speed, etc.), so that would be appreciated.

    Liking this mod a lot.

    The armour values ​​can be found under unit_armour_types_tables (Radious Total War Mod). This is important for the changes (Auxiliary Roman Archers)

    There are tables for melee weapons, ranged weapons, shields, armour and tables for unit stats. These act together!

    @CJK I added your download link and screenshots to the first post

    I just made a version where I removed the magic abilities and gave them an own bow and arrow type. That makes it easy to tweak damage and range. They now have a range of 140 and damage 40. That's already alot compared to other units stats. I'm not sure they really should be beefed up too much. For me this mod was more about availability from the start than having some über unit.

    Ok this is my finished version and compatible with the Radious Unit Pack 1 - Barbarian Invasion (Unit Pack Compatibility --> UPC_German)

    I have changed the pack files. The unit is now Roman. Armed with Bow and Gladius. Equipped with chain mail. The officer was changed (roman centurion). The statistics were changed. The Unit Pack Compatibility was extended and is currently available for the German version --> UPC_German
