Can Cave paintings be replaced
By the gods above and below someone please tell me they've heard that there is a modder who can do something about the cave paintings representing buildings and army unit boxes. Maybe its a minor thing to some, but if I ever do play 'Rome 2' again it would be a good immersion factor if replaced with more realism. Yes, I know the cave paintings are the least of R2s problems, but hey, just curious if it can be done.

Re: Can Cave paintings be replaced
I brought RTW2 recently and it seems the cave paintings are meant to depict ancient greek art more so,from what I see. I hate these UIs myself, and they can be done as in MTW2 which has alternative unit art and good UIs,and the same can be for the ones in RTW2. They are just being lazy I guess. I do not know how Shogun2 does theirs?

Re: Can Cave paintings be replaced
It's really odd how they went with classical art to depict units, buildings, tech, etc, but then modern, transparent minimalist windows for the rest of the UI. I'd rather have classical-styled interface with Roman-Greco pillars and paint-flecked stone, and then for the icons to be more intricately and intuitively designed for greater recognition ease.
If anyone works out how to edit the interface or find the textures for it please make a thread in the workshop so us artists can get to work making something more intuitively designed.
