Default Small vanilla RTW loading bar oddity

This is not a big thing and I don't know if it should have been posted somewhere else, but when I installed the optional vanilla RTW loading bar on RTRPE 1.6 and 1.7 it seems as if the old heading of Rome Total War also came back in ON TOP OF the RTR heading (this when the game loads something). Anybody else seen this, and could I remove this old heading myself in some way?

I got a picture, but don't know how to put it in here. I know I can upload it to some sites, like FileFront, but how do I get a link in here that refers to the file on FileFront? Do I need to "submit it to FileFront" and then what?
Thanks for helping me out on this one.

    Try photobucket or imageshack

Save the pic in jpeg format.
    Go to:
    http://img515.imageshack.us/
Use the browse option to search the file on your PC and then click "host it". You will be given several links. On of them is entitled forum link or for forum or something like that. Copy that and paste it in a post here. Don`t close the imageshack before you made sure you posted the link correctly on the forum.

OK, I got something here. I'll post it and see if it works.

It did! Thanks, Florin80! Perfect instructions! Now I've learned something more!

If you have vanilla you could overwrite the RTRPE symbols with those. But make backups of the RTRPE just in case something F's up.

Well, I wasn't sure what you meant, Walrus (I thought "Must I give up the background picture of RTRPE in order to get the loading bar of vanilla RTW back?"), but your suggestion made me go look for symbols. And there they were, in the Data folder, inside the folder "loading_screen"(!). I started to compare the files in this folder for RTRPE and vanilla RTW, using GIMP to open them up. I noticed that, whereas the heading for RTRPE, the one that says "ROME TOTAL REALISM", is INTEGRATED with the background picture (it's all one picture), the heading for RTW, the one that says "ROME Total War", is not. But in the one file in RTRPE where the RTW heading was seen, "loading_logo_and_bar", the vanilla loading bar was also seen. So perhaps I couldn't lose the one without also losing the other. But then I tried using the lasso tool in GIMP to cut out the vanilla heading alone, leaving the vanilla bar intact. Here's the result:

    PROBLEM SOLVED!
    Thanks for your help, guys!

Yo, is that a fraps counter in the bottom corner? How you get that?

Yes, that's a fraps counter. I take my screenshots with that program. You can download it from www.fraps.com. They have a limited freeware version and a full-featured $37 version.
