Default So how do your sieges usually go?

First my defensive sieges where the AI does its one trick it always does, burn one door and double right-click on your nearest capture point.

I was stupid here and actually lost 3 units trying to kill a couple from the walls while they were burning the gates.

Now check out these awesome attacking sieges where I battled my way through AIs incredible defenses.

This is what the battle looked like for the entirety of the countdown

I realize my forces are much stronger here but those listed kills arent from the battle but automatically awarded after you click "End Battle" button the AI did not budge one bit. I know what your thinking "Try that with a Big Bad Walled City and see how it goes". Well yeah turns out more capture points the easier it gets, if you use any door but the main one to get through. I didnt take a screenshot mid battle here but I did of the results.

I was looking forward to seeing those elephants too
P.S. Im overusing spoiler tags because TWC wont let me make paragraphs (I might need a thousand posts for that or something), also the reason for there being three different factions on these screenshots is because prepatch I got bored so easily with a campaign, this new one is lasting me a bit longer now without constant lag and eternal turn-times. Please share your thought on some of your most EPIC siege battles...

Siege: Attacking. I bombard them until I'm out of ammo, half there armies dead and I proceed to walk over them.Siege: Defending. This get more interesting but it depends heavily on the AI but more often than they'll simply charge in a single gate and be slaughtered. There was only one exception. In my civil war, a two verse nine (only four at a time.). They all ended up coming in at a narrow strip of land with a single gate. I ended up destroying my own walls to kill them and open up more space to fight but sadly other than that and some creative cavalry attacks it was standard stuff. Other than the fact I keep crashing and having to replay the battle.

Attack: burn the gate, rush in with brute force. ( I only take siege if I'm much stronger or else I wait)
Def: AI always come at one gate. Find that gate, use spear infantry square formation with other melee troop support to catch anyone that lucky survive and go out of that wall of spear and javelin man ( if i got some) in the wall or behind the infantry line to do some extra damage to the enemy and some cav to charge from behind and trap them in the gate.
