Beta Patch 2 NOT good enough

The 2nd patch, which is in beta, does help the combat somewhat, but it is not anywhere near good enough, more work needs to be done. The campaign is still very boring and easy. And honestly, after going back to playing kingdoms for a bit, Rome 2 looks like a downgrade. This game would have been awesome if it had come out after Rome 1. but now its just silly. Massive overhaul through patches needed to salvage this game. Modders may be able to convert it into something worth playing as well. Sry CA... just my opinion. I still buy your games and am a big fan. But real friends will tell you the truth, not what you want to hear. -GreatSword

I don`t believe any serious users are saying that just because the beta 2 Patch is better that CA can push out the Official patch 2 and stop. Of course not. This is only the start of fixing RTW2.

Some will say they`re happy with that, since they`ll be happy with dog poo if CA made that, but the discerning among us are not that easy to placate.

These first few patches will be for bug fixes. Its been less than two weeks, did you really expect gameplay modifications to be patched this early?

Personally, its been a pretty good patch. Improved CAI and frame rate.

this is just the beginning of the long road regarding fixing rome 2, who thinks all gets fixed with beta patch within 2 weeks, is simply delusional....... rome wasn't made in one day and ironicaly rome 2 wont be fixed with "one patch".....
