Does modding make sense right now? (@all the modders)

Hi guys,

while I really appreciate your great work, I wonder:
Does it make sense right now to mod the game when major changes are occuring weekly, possibly rendering current mods useless regularly by either:
a) being incompatible
b) fixing things that those mods fixed previously

Right now I'm quite discouraged from using the mods for these reasons. Later of course once things have calmed down. What are your thoughts on this?
