    Icon4 Unable to mod the ships, no workaround possible for any of the naval bugs!

    Hi guys,

    I have tried everything, even what Magnar said about the ships and such. It seems just as the cavarly that the ships are hardcoded or something which causes these bug. I am afraid we have to address CA for this issue as we do not
    have the possibility to overcome this issue.

    I tried the ship numbers, unit numbers per ship... nothing worked. It seems you cannot change above a certain amount of men to fit on the ships. Even 200 men a unit could be a problem.


    It would be nice if someone of the community could share their opinion to this, or even back me in trying to find this perfidious bug that checkmates our modding possibilities in casus of the naval unit size/ transports. Even vanilla these units are fubar. There would not be a single issue with the sizes if CA did not implement their retarded ship system. Unfortunately they did, as I see no use of naval battles and find them annoying and clicking further to autosolve them.

    Share your opinion please, or if you really have an idea to overcome these issues, feel free to post it!

    The only thing I was able to do was get 238 men per ship by changing the transport ship to "egyptian_eight"

    So, we need to make a Roman twenty then eh?238 men is an odd number, but I guess that is the most stable amount to play with.

    Unfortunately there isnt anything we can do

    Personally im going to make them 2 ships per unit for over sized units. It has other issues but at least all units can be disembarked and reachable. Also the ai can actually move once they land if its 2/unit.
