Holy titties look at all dem fixes!

Sounds like a good patch. Thank you for posting the changelog![]()
Best patch of the few I've seen so far, this might be one of CA's big steps in the right direction with this game.
All I'm missing now is the op transport, but I'm sure they'll save that for another time.
Looking forwards to when CA can make the enemy assault siege AI actually works. Have to say, looks like a good patch though.
Testing now.
The Moralizing Empire.

well then guys, can you see any improvements ?
If you work to earn a living, why then do you work yourself to death?
good start, squalor changes are almost exactly what I had in mind
does anyone know if this solves the issue where
a fleet from another faction, can be an ally etc, is blockading a port settlement.
And you cannot attack said settlement, even over land? One thing that needs changing imo
Good to see there's a lot of fixes. However, they really need to fix this bug where you can't besiege a blockaded settlement. Lilybaeum has been blockaded for 20+ turns and short of declaring war on a bunch of factions I'm not ready for war with yet, there's nothing I can do to take over it.
Anyone else having issues with downloading/installing? My dl speed gets to like 50 kb/s, then stops for a minute, then goes at 50 kb/s for a second. Regular Steam downloads are fine, but patching Rome 2 takes 10 minutes or more...
Still the same fps in campaign and when selecting an army or a city it drops under 20 fps.

Anyone still doubting this game is in Beta? Or that the UI isnt was partially completed?
Now to test the patch.
They already made statement they will first try to fix all the bugs and optimization, then they would prioritize AI, and possible changes to game mechanics.
Which make sense imo. But yeah, as impressive as that list looks, it just shows again that the game was far from ready to be released. But at this point pretty much everybody has realized that, and there really is no point to bathe in that point anymore, and now is the point to try to help CA to fix the game.
At this rate I actually might pick this game up after few weeks.![]()
The flags can stay, for sieges only, well actually they need to get rid of the Sally Forth flags to when you attack as a defender from your city also. I just don't want the AI to rush through straight to the flag without attacking my guys. AI as of now basically just issues a move order and gets slaughtered trying to move, not fight, through my units.
Can anyone do a standard siege battle where you are defending and see if the AI just clumps together and rushes down one path to get to the flag?

Actually, although it wasnt mentioned in the patch log, I played a battle when I was sieging and the AI attacked me and there was no flag. I was more than happy to say the least although it needs further testing.
Does anyone else have faster turn-times or am I deceived, I did start a new campaign so that might be it but they blitz through the faction icons in no time.
Can someone confirm these two changes?
I am honestly surprised by how many fixes were in this patch. This is great news. A little over a week since release and I have read practically every issue I've been bother with has been noted in this patch.
Of course I'm at work all day so I cant test myself if they've changed anything. Feedback from you TWC bums would be great.
Either way, that light at the end of the tunnel is getting brighter, might not be too much longer until we all get the Rome 2 we wanted.
