Icon3 Let's make phalanx units carry pikes in standard formation!

Hello TWC, I made a thread at the Rome 2 General discussion forum and found that a lot of people actually miss this about Rome 1.

In Rome 1 pike units carry pikes all the time, even when not in phalanx formation, in Rome 2, sadly you have swordsmen-looking units without the hundreds of sarrissas that make them epic, unless you click phalanx formation. Then pikes suddenly appear out of nowhere.

Since I don't have modding experience with Warscape (used to mod Rome 1 and Medieval 2 before I stopped showing up here), I would like to ask the community if there are any feasable ways to make these pike units carry their pikes all the time, whether in or out of the phalanx. Swords can be switched to when needed, such as if the unit is ordered to charge or if individual men need to during close combat (like in Rome 1).

Any way to make this happen? What files should I edit?

I confess I spent a lot of time just watching my line of pikes lowering and raising their pikes in Rome 1, it looked really cool.

Same here, I even thought it was a bug that my pikemen marched with swords. I avoid playing as or against the successor states nowadays because of this, it bothers me for some reason.
