RSII on Windows 8?

So, I'm upgrading my machine from Vista 32 bit. I have 2 options, obviously; Windows 7 or Windows 8 (64 bit of course, I learned that lesson). My question is; can I play RSII on Windows 8? I know with it being being built for old PC's, single cores and all that jazz it could be possible that going to 8 would ruin my RSII experience.

I'll post my PC specs as well. Currently the game gets choppy running it on highest, perhaps someone will notice something in my spec that could be upgraded or even downgraded to run the game better. Must.... Have.... Vegitation....

Yes it runs fine on Windows 8, but honestly I'd stick with Windows 7. The new UI is really annoying for me on a desktop -- there are ways to avoid as much of the new UI as possible, but there is no way to completely get rid of it.

You shouldn't have any problems with win 8 - its better than Win 7 eg. memory management's been improved and I've had no problems running RS2 on it since last year. The only negative is the metro gui which I avoid using like the plague .. so all you need to do is power up and go straight into the desktop and away you go.
