I love having this unit on the battlefield. I myself Only have 1 of these as I beleive thats all there should be. They really do own. You could say they are over powered, but my Macedonian Royal peltasts can do the same job, if not better. Quite often My royal Peltast shock unit kills more than the Myrmidons.

You know what you Should do Punitor? Make the faction Pergamon = Troy XD

I didnt get this to work for spartans as well. But resolved it on my own way.. Opened it with PFM editor and looked files. In myrmidons_units_to_groupings_military_permissions file there were no sparta at all.. Not sure if this was for some script or not. But i added it, and now spartans can recruit myrmidons as well in my game 8)

There is still something wrong, not sure is it cause what i modified but all hellenic factions can now recruit myrmidons from the start O.o ...

im actually already working at a bronze age mod
for this im trying to stay as historically accurate as possible.

f.e. troia will be Wilusa, because there are a lot of hittite sources talking about this. and according to the hittites wilusa is at the exact same spot like Troia or homers Illiad.
also im trying to makethe units historically correct. as far as this is possible in Rome II yet.
for this the myrmidons will also be modified a bit. so that they are a bit more historical (different helmet f.e.)

this are factions able to redcruit them: athens, epirus, sparta, macedon, pontos, seleucids, ptolemaics,
has anyone an idea how to make them available in macedon only (best would be thessaly, but i guess thats impossible)

i'm trying right now to give them the dark shaded bronce cuirass. as there is no completely black/very dark breast plate.

yeah i tried to give them spears too, but this didnt work. so i made them swordsmen with javelins...

Im in a Sparta campaign now, cant recruit them unless theyre available from the Monument of Leonidas as I went down that building tree.

Im also playing a Seleucid campaign and theyre not there either, not even in custom battles for Seleucid, but theyre in custom battles for the other factions you mentioned
