rome 2 moddability

hi friends.i would like to learn about modding the rome2.i was a modder and i created many mods,submods for m2tw.i am also a 3d character artist and modeller.my questions are 1-)can i add my custom characters into the game?2-)can i add my custom weapon,helmet,sword models into the game?thanks for the answers.

Not until they release the modding tools.
But if I were you I'd get busy on making a forge thread and showing off designs.
