Graphics crash during siege battle, unspecified error crash on battle exit

Hey guys

Could I ask for your help. These two errors keep happening during this siege battle. Either I exit early, in which case I get the unspecified CTD crash, or I get right near the end of the battle, in which case I get the CTD graphics crash.

I'm running Windows 7 on an AMD FX4100 (OC to 4.2GHZ), 8GB RAM, HD7770 GHZ edition. My specs should be more than enough.

I'm playing SS 6.4 Kingdoms fully patched. I have both DX11 and DX9 installed. UAC is disabled (at least I think it is, I just took full control of the M2 folder where SS is?). I run the game as an Administrator. I have dialed down the graphics strictly to recommended settings.

This battle is during the campaign and unlike previous battles, it's a siege where both armies have active reinforcements.

I didn't have issues with previous battles and then, I was on max settings - way above recommended. However in these cases, the battles weren't sieges.

Any thoughts? Pretty sure I've tried most fixes I've read about.

Please go into sub mods, Install Real Battle AI sub mod, this fixes problems with the baseline Battle AI

Joe, thanks but I'm now getting a fatal graphics error well before the siege ends. Installed the sub mod as recommended. Can I ask why you suggested a fix that addresses AI when my issue isn't AI related? Does it fix it indirectly?

There is a bug with the Battle AI, when re-inforcement armies join a battle. Please go into graphic options and reduce settings, also go into your graphs card settings, may need to reduce setting there as well. SS Is heavy on graphics
