    Default Campaign Map Modding

We all know that without Campaign Map Modding no Modding like for M2 will come. Some guys like spartan-warrior have already done well for Shogun 2 Map. We had hoped that the knowledge which was created with Shogun 2 would help to mod the map of Rome 2. What are you thinking about it?
Will be possible to mod the campaign map in Rome 2?

With all these magic skills. This game would be pretty good for a warhammer mod.

If they made it easier than shogun 2, people might mod it. I believe spartan warrior said its more time consuming or you need to have more technical skills to mod the campaign map. Or something like that, if Im wrong then ignore that statement.

We needed 5 years for 1648 as a full TC for M2. I did not expect lesser time for a R2 full TC
I have no problem with difficult modding, but in fact there must be real opportunities to build a complete new map by scratch.

The Rome 2 map does have the benefit of being more adaptable to most mods than Shogun's Japan, so I think we'll probably see a lot settlement/region/province modding, rather than actual map modding.

Until we get support from an official set of tools, like we got for Shogun 2, the campaign map won't be moddable. Modding the campaign map in Rome 2 will have to wait until CA supplies the tools, the structure of the map in Rome 2 is quite different then in Shogun 2, so there is no way to use the old tools for Rome.

Thank you spartan_warrior. Thats the point. So i will wait for real R2 modding until i can mod the map. So i will continue with modding M2. And kept R2 mapping under observation
