Help patching Third Age 3.0

Hey guys, new to the forums!

I've owned every total war game with the sole exception of Napoleon but for some reason was never big into the mods. I just got a new PC for Rome II and happened across this mod that looks awesome! anyway, I've managed to install and open up 3.0 but being a complete noob at this sort of thing am having trouble patching it to 3.2. Would someone with some know how explain how to a just barely computer illiterate person what is meant by copy/pasting the text files and exactly how to do that? I have Medieval 2 Kingdoms on Steam, I know that makes a difference. Thanks in advance for the help!

Hi tmat91, and welcome to the forums!!

A very helpful installation guide is Elvenkinds "Installation of SubMods" thread. Scroll down just a little bit and you'll see a big section titled "Steam Installation of Third Age Total War," hopefully that will help guide you.

If you have any more specific questions about the installation that the guide doesn't seem to help you with then post again in that thread and I'm sure Elvenkind will be able to help you asap. Never be afraid to ask questions on the TATW forums, we love to help folks here.

edit: Also, forgot the mention that you don't need to pay any attention to the MOS or PCP sections of Elvenkind's guide, they are for additional content sub-mods for TATW.
