    Default Making new Generals?

    Hi Guys,

Is there any way to make new Generals in RTW like you could in MTW, with birth dates and such or perhaps bringing one in through a scripted event? I've checked through these forums and those on the Org but found nothing

    Thanks for any help

    Lucius

Didn't look very hard did you? This thread is on the first page in the Modification Rescources forum.

If there's no way to create it on the fly, is there a way to do it so that the birth of the family member with a given name is automatically triggered when a set year is reached? Is there a way to set what the future generations of a family tree will be named, and what years they will be born in? Crossing the alps with some other lame non-Hannibal guy just feels pointless...

I was thinking, what would happen if I set the descr_start.txt file to have characters with negative ages?
It was in the thread you pointed out, but no-one seems to have answered it

    Thanks again

Negative ages don't work. I think something like this can be done through scripting, but someone whos more familiar with scripting will have to answer.

Ah well, thanks for your help, could you very kindly move this post into the Hall of Scribes,it'd probably be more relevant there, and hopefully get more coverage.

    Thanks again
