    Default [WIP] Realistic Heights mod

    Hi I am working on a small little editing that will bring back to human size the disrpoportioned units in RTWII...


    after some proportions and calculations it can be seen how the most of the units have a small variance between them but the height bases are overly wrong , the Barbarians get to up to over 2 meters, wich is absurd and considering that the game just scales up the unit and not the height it looks disproportionally buffed and huge .

    SO to bring back things I am rescaling all the units to a realistic height ...

    having romans varying around 1.74 greeks 1.70 Celts 1.77 Germans 1.82 and so on based on the realisitc heights proportions ....

    will work on that hope to finish soon.

    Best of luck with your little mod dude. However you posted the thread in the wrong section. This should be in the mod threads, not mod workshop. I would ask a mod to move it.

    if someone wants to sugest heights I am open to sugestions so far that's my plan of scaling

    From the 1.60 - 2.20 disproportions between mediterraneans and barbarians I am reducing to a normal and more realistic of 1.65 -1.85 with the due variations inter people and more variations between different cultures alsowith minimal variations among britons , gauls etc .

    the fact is that the huge disparity betwen romans actually beeing of 10 points makes the barbarians look like big trolls and diproportioned also no human was 2.20 m tall at the time ... nevertheless the game scales everything , faces, feet , hands , so the result is kind of giant monsters .... rescalign to normal and realistic heights shoudl fix this and make less noticeable .

    Should the romans and greeks not be very similar in height?Hope this goes well. Good luck.
