Help needed: How disable or delete some battle ui buttons

Hope someone can help me,

currently I am playing around with the unit special abilities and I want to change some of them in a way, that they are randomly or automaticly triggered.
Changing them to autotrigger is not the problem, but I want to prevent that the user can still activate them.
So my idea was, to simply delete the battle ui buttons for these unit abilities.

I found them in the data.pack ==> extracted them and created a mod as usual, but this time the game crashed.
So any other ideas or solutions?
