    Thanks now the swordsmen have a lighter version of the scalemail in the mix.

    Thanks for the mod!!

    Will you do the same with Arab swordsman? They are using Falcata and all of them are Beardless!! If you are going to do it, please give some of them barbarian beard (the one without long moustache) and their proper sword.

    If you want to include them for Parthia, you'll just need to refer to the eas_persian_hoplites.variantmeshdefinition model already ingame. And probably create the necessary hoplite entry. Ignore the text and color, I was giving them to a Libyan unit to test them ingame.

    That's pretty interesting, I haven't tried to added any new units. I think I will avoid touching any of the major DB tables until after a few patches. Also there is an armored spear noble that Armenia uses that would be a nice addition to any Eastern faction.

    those spearmen looks sweet but their gear looks more helenistic than eastern. maybe it would be a nice addition to Seleucid and pontus?

    Very nice work. I actually disagree with this historically though. If Parthia used heavy swordsmen they almost certainly wore helmets (probably greekish ones). There was a lot of hellenistic influence in Parthia, they were Philhellenes.

    I like your idea of making them look more Eastern but tend to agree that there would have been a strong influence of Greek equipment. Nevertheless I think it is probably the case that heavy infantry anyway would have been more the exception than the norm, given Parthian armies high degree of mobility. I visualise probably the use of a many lightly armored spear units with the heavy armour being reserved for cavalry, which were armed with an axe or version of the akinakes as a side arm rather than a long sword. Good idea though and hope that you can develop the Parthian army further.

    It looks really good, the perfect mix between greek and persian influences, Alexander the Great would be proud of you!

    I added it as an attachment in the OP and added an alternative download link, the TWC is pretty slow atm so the other download link might be a better option.
