moving units in formation

ello fellas how do you move units while still in formation?? i know theres a way its different to the first time but it really gives the lining up my men just how i want only to have them line up in a straight file when i issue a move order!

ctrl + A then ctrl + G,
when issuing order also alt + right click to walk

to adjust formation direction just hold right click - drag to desire position

Or if you look under the "group" tabs there is a "lock formation group". Then you are free to move them and they will stay in the formation you set.

I don't understand why they removed the good old simple one key G for gruping and having them in formation why now you have t press cntrl and G ??? What's the arcane reasons for that stupid extra complication?
Also now you do not have anymore the advance and formations increase decrease turn etc on the small buttons on bottom left but u need to go look for the keys on the keyboard wich is another annoyance and stupid decision !

I think its a good way so when we issuing new order (to block a narrow pass maybe) the don't stuck in previous formation. Each has it own use in battle.
