Default Faction politics and Family tree

I really dont understand ca logic in this matter, seems to me they put modern politics in a game that explorers the ancient world, they added political parties in a world where most factions are kingdoms or empires.

No family tree to show me who is my faction leader or his heir, its ridicolous,no connection with your factions characters, its like fire and forget, you only need them to raise armies and thats about it.
Can family tree be added by a patch or a mod because its really game breaking as it is now?

I'm really hoping a family tree is added. I wouldn't go so far as it's game breaking but It just makes me feel nothing for the characters what so ever except on the rare occasion. The thing I find most annoying is in my Roman campaign I would have a Julius, Cornelius Scipio and Junius Brutus but as soon they die so random with a completly unrelated name takes over. Where are the remaining family members? I have even had events saying that they have sons and daughters.

I am not one to go out and trash CA because of their decisions in fact I will defend them but not having a family tree was a fairly pointless decision that I hope the will fix.

This seems me an unforgivable mistake... I want to play with the Gens Cornelia and therefore I want my main characters are named Cornelius (XXXXX Cornelius XXXXX).

It's easy to understand even for CA, no?

If they do end up adding family trees, they should also end up making politics more robust; after all, now it's just: "Okay, I'll secure some promo--six-THOUSAND denarii become quaestor!? Whatever, back to land management."

They need to re-do Political Systems for all of the factions. They should not only include Generals/Admirals but also Governors and Political Positions.

I think they bunked up the politics in this game by not devoting enough to it. Yes a strategy games deserves some politicking, but they did absolute bare minimum for a political spectrum and called it good. They either did too much with the politics or not enough. They found that ugly middle ground which just doesn't cut it. Personally I'd be much happier if they had fleshed out the politics with things that are actually worth doing, like creating a plot to kill a particular general inside your faction and looking to other parties for support. Just paying some money to have someone killed or getting a random marraige with some random person doesn't have much meaning.

Also, family trees of some kind!!! Good god, how am I supposed to know who to kill and who is coming up next?
