    Default Missing Features/Features Removed Thread

    Just so we can get a handle on the depth that was removed from the game let's list the missing features in bullet point format. Maybe modders can add these back in. There are two categories, one is Promised Features Missing and the other is Features Removed.

    Promised Features Missing
    * Ship units comprised of multiple ships.

    Features Removed
    * Diplomacy - request map information.
    * Battles - loose formation

    Features Removed
    * Multiple Seasons visual on campaign Map
    * Family Tree
    * Few Turns per year
    * Nicely themed and Detailed Interface
    * City View (Ok it's been removed right after Rome I)

    Features Removed
    *Guard mode
    *Fire at will for Javelins
    *Anti Aliasing.. might as well be a feature in games these days

    Features Promised
    *Roman units with the ability to bring men from the front, back to recover and be replaced with fresh troops (Within the unit).

    When was that ever promised?

    And IMO, they removed the multiple ships per unit for good reason. If you up the unit sizes, the amount of ships as well, but turning is a bit of a mess and they get stuck on each other occasionally.

    Stop mode what i mean by that is the units actually stop and not go into battle when close to the enemy.
