Constant agents conflict are boring

Even in Shogun 2, where you also have lots of agents, if dont have 5 agents attacks against you each turn and, consequently, to attack also 5 times back in defence.

I dunno if Athens is REALLY doing and unconventional warfare since they lacks good armies while I slow support Sparta to conquer all of their territories, but it's kinda boring me. Every three turns, a general is wounded of killed, agents even every turn. I dunno why they spend so much money in agents, even in actions and recruiting new ones, instead of building a decent army to do a final strike in the spartan or a great navy to attack me in Rome while my legions are in Greece. Just... boring.

you underestimate the agents. i find they re pretty powerful and useful. especially when used within an army
