after some decades of turns i was in war with the rest of the factions, even if i did not declare war to anyone if not just my next factions to conquer Italy, sicily, a small part of gallia and stop. I tried to make relationships but failed, even neutral factions did not want to commerce with me. The result is that i cannot make a proper campaign, i have to keep 3 big armies on Italy (oh, i am Rome) because each turn i have, not only about 2-3 rebellions (i usually cannot even care about them) but some 1-2 full armies invading me. Especially those damn Daorsi from Illiria.
But fortunately AI sucks so much so i can even win with a small garrison of mediocre infantry and javelins against 1800 armies very often, otherwise i would have lost the game.
Yes, this is the problem: AI sucks so much. Not only in campaign, when it attacks me always in my garrison even if it is just one unit, not only in battle, where it let me surround it with cavalary easily and win even if i have 1/10 of men, but even in the same army composition: i found that each faction i have encountered has few units of cavalry, and always half infantry, half javelins/archers/ slingers, so that my usual tactic is to use 3-4 units cavalry to surround, kill the light infantry, and then push on back of heavy infantry. But this is getting boring. All time same tactic, even if i am in war against about 30 factions, and i usually do battles against 4-5.
Oh, in sieges, it is even easier, i form a U in front of the door, surround enemies getting in, and win.
This is boring.
Oh and multiplayer has no unlocks! i loved to unlock units in shogun 2!
