The city of Garama, capital of Garamantia somehow gives more income than all of Italia combined, is this a huge bug or intended?

My guess is that the developers accidentally added an extra 8 to the intended income, making it 1548 instead of 154. They have 3 entire stacks of 20 units each so I can't really do much against them.
Apparently it's not just Garama, the town in Southern Algeria and another one in Southwestern Morocco also have a 1000+ income while major cities like Rome only have 330.
Maybe it's to represent the trade routes that went from the Mediterranean down through the Sahara? I can't say for certain but it's a possiblity.
All I know for sure is that finding this thread quadroupled my drive to conquer those desert rats on my borders! (playing as Carthage btw)
Nah, I almost guarantee it's a bug because the developers didn't check those areas (can't blame them, there's almost nothing there). Also the fact that they take Carthage in most hands-off games I've had reinforces this. I'm sadly not touching Carthage (which is my favorite faction) again until they fix this. It's not fun losing all my client-states every single game to the Numidians within 5 turns, then Carthage itself being besieged by 2 stacks of Numidians by turn 10. Also another annoying thing is when I subjugate a nation, but that nation is still at war with my client-states + they get an extra army when I subjugate them.
Can someone compile a quick list of all provinces with outlandish income for me?
Those provinces SHOULD theoretically have a high income from the sub-saharan gold trade.
Not THAT wealthy though lol

I'd say 548 is a good income if you include the sub-Saharan gold trade since Rome has 330, but 1548? And it's not just Garamantia, it's every single Numidian town south of the North African coastline.
like was said here, seems a trend on TW games such regions always had high income. but if i'm not wrong, doesnt that region have a trade thing? but even so is too high, when playing as carthage they steamrolled libya xD
Common sense removed due being Disruptive.
Look, Mali in 272bc didn't exist. The gold trade was negligible and at most the trade with sub-Saharan tuareg tribes should amount to 50 income (50 income is a lot in this game, look at how much income buildings give). I think those Sub-Saharan Numidians are more than well economically with their 2500 base income, so additionally they could get 50-80 from their oasis outposts. That 2500 would serve to maintain their Numidian army + make a few troops.
So has anyone figured out how to fix this? Or what is causing the inflated income?
I wondered why the start of my Normal difficulty Carthage campaign was pretty difficult. I was like Damn, these desert tribes are no joke... I pulled all my forces out of southern Italy completely stopping my invasion of Rome in order to fend off African tribes.
Am I the only one who likes this? Now I know where I can find a decent source of income to help my economy which is limping along at 5000 income, not enough even for building conversions in conquered provinces. I miss the wealthy days of Rome 1 where you could have building in every town and still turn a profit (due to the sack/loot town mechanic not being completely unusable.

How can you like it when it completely unbalances the factions and results in Carthage getting wiped out every damn campaign and the North African factions taking over?
Now THIS is the reason why I always see Carthage wiped out by the Garamantians... understand.
