What's the longest time it's taken to start the game?

My biggest problem with this game is simply being able to start it - Click on the Icon, OH NO! NOT STEAM UPdates.... waiting waiting waiting for steam updates and RTW2 updates ... Oh, theres this button that says start the game immediately the updates are done - click on said button - game continues updating - try button that says start game now , ignored. Finally, the game - NO, its a Steam screen with a start game button. OK I click the start game button, only to find there is the longest startup sequence for any Total War Game so far.... I mean 30 minutes or more just to start the game???? I think I'll go back to M2TW or HOI III. So far I've pretty much only had time to play starting the game.

Same as Zenky. Was amazed how quickly it loaded compared to Shogun 2. Up to campaign turn 60 and the end turn sequence is quite reasonable.

Shogun 2 takes about 1:00 - 1:30 for me. I was shocked when Rome II took 10 seconds load.

I thought the loading screen would go on for a long time. It was way shorter than I expected, much quicker than shogun 2. 30 minutes, you say?

First loading is really short, I mean, Holy , it's short. Shogun took like a minute

My computer is on the min spec. Not bad. Sadly, the same cant be said for the loading the campaign game but I am content with it.
