Default Petition to bring back drop in battles

They were a great feature in S2, a way to avert the frustrating AI and fight a competent opponent. Now they have taken it out for no reason whatsoever. I dont understand the reasoning behind getting rid of all these good S2 features. Anyway here is the petition. http://forums.totalwar.com/showthrea...es-PLEASE-SIGN!!!

Default Re: Petition to bring back drop in battles

Removing a great feature like Drop-in battle is one of the most strange gameplay design decisions ( just like removing unit numbers , family tree ,... ) I've ever seen in this franchise ! It could make the battles more challenging because no matter how improved the AI will become it still cannot act as real as human player itself. I've played many drop-in battles since it introduced first in Napoleon:TW and was going to have a complete drop-in battles only campaign until I found out CA decided to remove another good feature with no logic behind it

@Those people who voted "No, I thought they were pointless" to have drop-in battles back Let's say you really tried Drop-in battle and didn't like it for whatever reason(s) !!! Then as this feature was totally optional (Which means you could completely ignoring without it affecting your experience) ,I'm really wondering why did you vote it not to back again? Is it bad to have more options available so everyone

@everyone who comment/vote in threads like this about missing featuresGenerally asking You guys ,Why do you vote or comment against some of the features introduced in older games (Like the subject of this thread) when they're optional and do not harm those who don't like them? Is in your opinion ,having more options in the game is bad? so everyone with every taste could enjoy the game???
