Default Unspecified error halfway through battle

Hey so I've tried a few fixes, Day light saving time one and the Map file delete, but both have not fixed my current issue. A friend of mine has a similar issue and I figured this would be the most effective way to figure out a solution.I uploaded a save file in a compressed folder and to make it easy I made sure the armies that I wanted attacking one another were attacking one another. The issue comes in when you fight the battle on the map, I also had the issue occur in two city fights as well. The problem is that I can fight for about half of the battle but as soon as some units engage (which seems to change so I cannot quite figure out which one is causing the issue) the game closes out and the unspecified error message pops up.I'm playing through Steam and also do not play with any sub mods so I do not believe I need to download and install Baron Samedi's bug fixer. If anyone else has any insight as to what the issue could be it would be appreciated.

    Hello there!

    1. You are playing vanilla Third Age 3.2 without ANY other submod installed? Not even Baron Samedi's which you mentioned?

    2. The battle is with Dwarves involved? Are there any Dwarven Axethrowers present on either side?

    3. No reinforcements present on EITHER side of the battle?

    1. Yes, just Third Age with the patches.

    2. The battle is Dwarves and yes there are axethrowers.

    3. And yes there are no reinforcements on either side of the battle in any of the battles that I have experienced the error.

Figured I would answer all the questions. I did the battle without the axethrowers in it and there was no error. So I guess they were they issue. Do you know of anyway to fix the problem with them crashing the game? Cause it would suck to get a council mission and be rewarded the axethrowers again when I cannot use them.

There is an easy fix for this and it's even savegame compatible:

    1. Go to your /steam/.../ M2TW/ mods folder, and see is there a "data" folder which contains models_missile folder.. If there is a data folder, right mouse click on it, press CUT, after that, go to your main /steam/..../M2TW folder, right mouse click somewhere inside of your main M2TW folder and press PASTE. Merge Folders when asked, Copy and Replace files if asked.

    2. If you don't have a data folder located in your steam/.../ M2TW/ mods folder, then make a NEW FOLDER on your Desktop, run TATW 3.2 Patch Installer and install it into this NEW FOLDER. ( so, run only 3.2 Patch, no need for first three Installers). After you installed 3.2 Patch, find this NEW FOLDER, open it and inside there should be two folders: data and mods folder..

Copy this data folder, and paste it into your main steam/.../ M2TW folder. Merge Folders when asked, Copy and Replace Files if asked.

After you do either one of these two "methods", go to your M2TW/ mods/ Folder where Third Age is installed/ data/ world/ maps / base folder, and delete map.rwm file located there.

    Test your battle again.

So I was able to follow the First one listed however, when I pasted the models_missle folder it did not asked to merge files however. I tried the battle and it didn't work. I then tried the second method with the 3.2 patch and still it didn't work, any ideas as to why it could do?

Did you delete map.rwm file as instructed in my previous post?

I did. I just checked around to see if it popper up again anywhere but did not find it.

Just noticed that I read some of your directions incorrectly though. My bad.

It is working now, just wasn't copying and pasting the data folder over, thought I had to move the items within the data folder over.

    Thank you much.
