    Default Want to edit unit stats?

    I found it very confusing to find the necessary schema data to be able to edit unit stats.
    To save others the trouble I thought id post the data as well as my schema file here for your convenience.

    Thanks to crackerjack1348 for linking to the data at totalwar forums In the first place.

    Credits to Jinarik of totalwar forums for creating it and sharing it.

    Schema file(put into PFM directory):

    Edit: Thanks to the contributions of warman222 main_units table is included so you can edit unit costs, etc.

    There was also one in that thread for the main units one which alters even more stats, can you do that one too?

    nevermind, I figured it out, AANNNDDDD I decided to share it with the masses. I basically added the main_units schema from the same thread reference above to the overall thing. This also includes Tarsus's work here as wellLink:http://www.sendspace.com/file/gv0dsd With the main_units table now open, you can do one of the most sought after things.... you can change the unit sizes. Now some of you might be thinking you can already do that using that multipler. Here's the thing, that only works on the campaign map, not custom battle and it's not that precise. This however allows you to change the specific number in the units, so you don't have to use the multipler. The only catch is you would have to do this for all the units individually. That's why I'm going to make a mod that does the dirty work for whoever wants it, EDIT: Wow, I just did a lot of post fixing since the post came out full retard. Um... GED, please FIX YOUR DAMN FORUM!

    Question for the inexperienced ones like me, how do I make use of this file? Do I simply import it into a pack? If so which one? Thanks for your troubles

    @Tolgon

    1. First download the schema file

    2. Then download PFM and put the schema file here

    3. Now open any mod pack or data_rome2.pack in PFM

    4. Find land_units_tables or main_units and edit units to your hearts content!

    @Tarsus999 Thanks for your reply. I keep getting this error: http://puu.sh/4njVx/219f9a6e40.jpg "Will only save MOD and non-CA MOVIE files with current settings." The forums are really slow right now and I'm trying to find answers but it's quite frustrating to say the least!

    Tolgon you must
    1/ run as administrator
    and
    2/ this the most important, in options in the PFM you must untick "CA packs are read only"
    also check that the "data_rome2.pack" file is not set to read only in the file properties of the actual file.

    Hey I didn't use the DB schema, I just used the PFM editor to change some unit stats so I located the land_units_tables ''file'' and it opened a table with unit names and stats. I changed what I wanted, saved and then ran the game but the changes were not implemented in game... I ran pfm and the game as admin so I have no idea what I did wrong. Could you help?

    EDIT: Fixed! The changes were implemented! I played a custom battle and noticed that the changes appeared there normally

    If you're using the schemas linked in this thread, that'll be your problem as they are wildly outdated (check the post dates). Get the proper one here (unpack into PFM directory)
