    When do marian reforms happen in vanilla campaign!!!!
    GIVE ME ANOTHER!!!!!!!!!!! I WANT TO SEE BLOOD, I WANT TO SEE MORE BLOOD, I WANT TO BATHE IN THEIR BLOOD FOR A WEEK!!!!!!!!!!!

    In RTW 1.0: an imperial palace in italy except rome and after 220bc
    In RTW 1.2 and later i believe: an imperial palace in italy except rome

    Had the Marian reform just one turn after Carthage (my capital) had 24000 inhabitants.

    And that contributed to the thread how exactly?

    FYI, that post is what i'd class as spam as it doesn't really answer the persons question at all, and just seems to be aimed at starting a debnate about gameplay. Which this thread isn't about.

    I'm pretty sure that the Marian Reforms in 1.2 have the same prerequisites as 1.0.

    Well it has been a while since i played 1.0. I know that in 1.3 and 1.5 its at any date. Maybe it was 1.2 that added the and after 220bc bit?

    I have 1.0 Vanilla, never had the Marian reforms so early. I played like two or three Roman campaigns seriously, two of them beyond 200 BC, without fighting a civil war and having the Marian reforms. In one of them, I was very popular with the people and had enough Senate popularity, so they didn't ordered my faction leader to kill himself or something like that.
